Hey there! I have listed a few of the activities we have had in our rotation this summer. There is a mix of indoor and outdoor activities but I find when we are outside my son likes more independent play. Everything used is from the dollar tree. Except for the playdough! So pretty inexpensive. I just like to have as many quick and simple activities to pull out when my son is bored and the television is just not an option. Limiting children’s screentime is so so so important. I would say no more hours than there age but that would make me a hypocrite some days… Sometimes you just tryna survive. But Just do your best to fill their little minds with wonder instead of them being on autopilot during a show. I hope these few activities give everyone some good ideas on how we can have an awesome summer!! Hey there! my name is Alonna, I am 21 years old and live in upstate South Carolina with my husband Toby and son Bowen. I am a full time stay at home mama and I love figuring out how to make our family life fun while still staying as "simple" as possible. When I say simple I mean taking a step back, being in nature, going for a walk, and being authentically yourself! It can be so easy as millennials who have grown up with technology and publicity that we become engrossed it in without even knowing. I hope to show my love for thrifting for home décor, clothing and anything else I can find. Another tool that is a big part of my daily life is to try to make the "daily duties" a bit more fun like cleaning, cooking, organizing exc. I hope this blog is somewhere I can store memories and make new ones! View all posts by simplyalonna
